Growbot Digital is a South African digital marketing business that helps local businesses improve their visibility on Google Search and Google Maps through Google Business Profile setup, optimisation, management, local SEO, and related digital marketing services.

2. Use of our website

You may use our website for lawful purposes only.

You agree not to:

  • misuse the website;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website or its systems;
  • copy, reproduce, or republish our content without permission;
  • submit false, misleading, harmful, or unlawful information;
  • use the website in a way that could damage Growbot Digital, our users, or our services.

We may update, change, suspend, or remove any part of the website at any time.

3. Website content

The content on our website is provided for general information and marketing purposes.

While we aim to keep our content accurate and useful, we do not guarantee that all information will always be complete, current, or error-free.

4. Service enquiries and quotes

Submitting an enquiry through our website does not create a client relationship or guarantee that we will provide services.

Any quote, proposal, or recommendation we provide is subject to:

  • the scope of work agreed;
  • our availability;
  • acceptance of pricing and payment terms;
  • any additional terms agreed in writing.

A project or service only begins once the scope, pricing, and payment requirements have been confirmed.

  • Google Business Profile setup;
  • Google Business Profile optimisation;
  • Google Business Profile management;
  • Google Maps visibility support;
  • local SEO;
  • website and conversion recommendations;
  • digital marketing support;
  • reporting and performance reviews.

The exact services provided will depend on the package, quote, proposal, or agreement accepted by the client.

6. Client responsibilities

To deliver services properly, we may need accurate information and timely cooperation from you.

You agree to provide information that is accurate, complete, and not misleading, including where relevant:

  • business name and contact details;
  • business address or service area;
  • website URL;
  • access to relevant platforms;
  • Google Business Profile information;
  • images, logos, descriptions, services, and other business details;
  • approvals, feedback, or responses needed to complete the work.

Delays in providing information, access, or approvals may delay the delivery of services.

7. Google Business Profile and third-party platforms

Some of our services depend on third-party platforms such as Google Business Profile, Google Search, Google Maps, Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta, WordPress, hosting providers, or other digital tools.

We do not own or control these platforms.

You acknowledge that:

  • third-party platforms may change their rules, systems, features, or approval processes;
  • Google may accept, reject, suspend, verify, edit, or remove business listings at its discretion;
  • rankings and visibility can change due to competition, location, algorithm changes, reviews, website quality, user behaviour, and other factors;
  • we cannot guarantee specific rankings, traffic, calls, enquiries, sales, or business outcomes.

We will provide services with reasonable care and skill, but we do not guarantee a specific position on Google Search or Google Maps.

8. No ranking guarantees

SEO, Google Business Profile optimisation, and local search visibility are influenced by many factors outside our control.

Growbot Digital does not guarantee:

  • first-page rankings;
  • top-three Google Maps placement;
  • a specific number of calls or leads;
  • instant results;
  • permanent rankings;
  • approval or verification by Google;
  • removal of all competitors above your listing.

Our work is designed to improve your visibility, profile quality, relevance, and local search performance, but results may vary.

9. Payments

Payment terms will be confirmed in the relevant quote, invoice, package, or written agreement.

Unless otherwise agreed:

  • payment is required before work begins;
  • once-off setup or optimisation fees are payable upfront;
  • monthly services are payable in advance;
  • late payment may result in work being paused;
  • invoices must be paid by the due date shown on the invoice.

All prices are subject to change, but confirmed quotes will remain valid for the period stated in the quote.

10. Cancellations and refunds

Cancellation and refund terms may depend on the service purchased.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

  • once work has started, setup and optimisation fees are not refundable;
  • monthly services may be cancelled before the next billing cycle;
  • completed work is not refundable;
  • delays caused by missing client information, access, or approvals do not automatically qualify for a refund.

If a refund is considered, it will be assessed based on the work completed, time spent, costs incurred, and the terms agreed for the service.

11. Intellectual property

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Growbot Digital owns the content, designs, processes, frameworks, templates, documents, methods, and materials we create for our own website, marketing, and internal business use.

For client projects, ownership of final approved deliverables may pass to the client once full payment has been received, unless otherwise agreed.

We may retain the right to use general knowledge, methods, ideas, experience, and non-confidential learnings gained while providing services.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or reuse Growbot Digital website content, templates, service materials, or resources without permission.

12. Client content and permissions

You confirm that any content, images, logos, business information, or materials you provide to us are either owned by you or you have permission to use them.

You give Growbot Digital permission to use the provided materials for the purpose of delivering the agreed services.

You are responsible for ensuring that the information supplied to us is accurate, lawful, and does not infringe the rights of any third party.

13. Portfolio and case study use

Unless you ask us not to, we may refer to your business name, project type, or general results in our portfolio, proposals, reports, marketing, or case studies.

We will not intentionally disclose confidential information or sensitive business information without permission.

If you do not want your business mentioned publicly, please notify us in writing.

14. Confidentiality

We will take reasonable steps to keep confidential information private.

Confidential information may include business information, login details, internal documents, strategy discussions, customer information, or other non-public information shared during a project.

Confidentiality does not apply to information that is already public, independently known, lawfully received from another source, or required to be disclosed by law.

15. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Growbot Digital will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses, including loss of profits, revenue, business opportunities, rankings, data, goodwill, or expected results.

Our total liability for any claim relating to our website or services will be limited to the amount paid by the client for the specific service giving rise to the claim, unless otherwise required by law.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where it cannot legally be excluded.

16. Website links and third-party content

Our website may contain links to third-party websites, tools, or platforms.

These links are provided for convenience or reference only. We are not responsible for third-party websites, content, terms, privacy practices, or services.
